Chinese Dragon Pendant

In this activity, we will learn about the dragon as a popular subject in Chinese art during the Zhou Dynasty.

Remember that from roughly 200-400 B.C., animals and mythical creatures were very popular subjects in Chinese art and were drawn in intricate patterns and weren’t made to look realistic. Dragons in Chinese and other East Asian cultures can symbolize luck, strength, and power!

So grab your pencils and paper, and get ready to draw a lucky dragon!
