Helen Frankenthaler

Access to our virtual series gives students the chance to participate in projects inspired by other living and historical artists. 

In this series, we celebrate American Abstract expressionist, Helen Frankenthaler.

Supplies needed: 

• 4 paint colors diluted with water (1 darker and 3 lighter)

• 4 paint brushes

• A piece of white fabric taped to a piece of cardboard. (The fabric can be an old shirt or pillow case).

  *Let your painting dry on the cardboard, and then peel it off when it has dried.
