After School Workshops

Spend a semester learning about the historical world!

Get your artist smock on! It’s time to learn.

Our afternoon workshops are designed to enhance your child’s general culture by addressing essential topics in geography, history, the history of ideas, art, literature, philosophy, etc.

Each class is carefully designed and taught by Anna Leigh Donado (MFA), Juan Carlos Donado (PhD in Philosophy) and Lucy Schwartzreich (BA in Fine Arts.)

Our students work diligently through journal work, guided diorama projects, free build time, drawing exercises, and memorization to gain analytical insight about a precise historical period and understand what makes their own way of thinking unique.

Many of our students have been with us for years, as a continual Goose Grease schedule adds to their early education and developmental understanding of the world. We have had multiple long term students go on to attend the prestigious arts schools Frank Sinatra, the School of Art and Design, and LaGuardia High.

While making art and learning history, we maintain a high standard of manners and behavior, focused on growing smart and respectful students. Our students are young leaders that can hold intelligent conversations and be a beacon in their community, respecting all persons, cultures, and religions.

See our Policies and FAQ page for more info.

Your child will learn history and make art during our studio sessions.
