Students have outdoor playtime and enjoy a packed lunch brought from home at the park (weather permitting).

Artists Inspired: Harlem Renaissance
October 2nd
Thursday • 9am-3pm
This full-day workshop will explore two artists born during and inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, Romare Bearden and Jacob Lawerence. Students will look through different samples of their work and discuss what was happening in history during that time. Then, they will make their own versions using the same techniques and materials!
