Whether it is a holiday or a snow day, students are FULLY IMMERSED into the topic of study with thoughtful discussions, note-taking, and project-based learning.
Students have outdoor playtime and enjoy a packed lunch brought from home at the park (weather permitting).

Craft Your
Own Restaurant

Ever wanted to create your own dream resturant? Now is the time! This week is all about food! (hand-crafted food, that is!) Our young entrepreneur/artists will design their own restuarant concept and make everything for their final presentation! They will make a menu and craft all the foods from materials such as felt, paper mache, and clay. They will also make a display case for their creations. We will look at food artists in the past, such as Claes Oldenburg and Wayne Thiebaud.
