Saturdays

Join us on the weekends for some extra fun learning!

Our workshops are the best way to spend a Saturday!

Our Saturday classes are a great opportunity to get involved in our history and art studies, as taught in our weekday after-school classes. This semester we are studying African art!

The Saturday classes will be grouped into 5 week sessions, with each session focusing on one project and topic. While drop-ins are available, we recommend students attend each week for the full experience.

Artist Studies
Saturdays • 10am-12pm

April 18th, 25th, May 2nd, 9th, 16th

In no particular order, each class will focus on one of the following: Raphael, Wifredo Lam, Paul Klee, Elizabeth Murray, and Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera. Each lesson will give students a deeper understanding of history, culture, and artistic techniques with a historical lesson and art project offered during each class.

For students who are interested in extended creative time, we are now offering an add-on extra-hour from 12-1pm for our Maker Space. This will run immediately after class for an hour and give students the opportunity to freely create and build. Care-givers are welcome to join this extra time at no extra cost.
