Saturdays
Join us on the weekends for some extra fun learning!
Our workshops are the best way to spend a Saturday!
Our Saturday classes are a great opportunity to get involved in our history and art studies, as taught in our weekday after-school classes. This semester we are studying Medieval Japan and Japanese Art.
The Saturday classes will be grouped into 3-5 week sessions, with each session focusing on one project and topic, all under the umbrella of either Medieval Japan or Japanese Art for the fall semester.

The Medieval World

September 13/20/27
& October 4
Saturday • 10am-12pm
In our first four weeks, we will be starting with an introductory unit full of geography and timeline reminders. In this first project, we will be providing an overview of what the world looked like between the broad timespan of about AD 800 to 1325, as a way to introduce the Medieval world to our students. Students will create an accordion book, focused on civilzations, cultures, and inventions from places like the Mongol Empire, Medieval England & Scotland, Medieval Europe, and Medieval Mesoamerica.
This is a drop off class and participation for all weeks is required.
Ages 5-12.
